Fringe 09/26/2009

This is such a freaky show and this episode just proves my point. This guy somehow altered his pregnant wife's fetus. She had lupus and couldn't carry a child, but through the manipulation the child was able to live despite the mother's lupus. The mother died in childbirth and the baby "died" as well. When the corpses were exhumed the wife was there, but the baby had tunneled out of the coffin and into the ground. The baby had grown and was digging around pulling people under the ground and eating them. The "baby" tunneled around like a mole and spewed this blue gunk that was a paralytic. In the end, the ground collapsed in on the "kid" and the car that was sitting on top of the tunnel squished him. The father/doctor, who had made him, hanged himself in jail and upon inspection of the property had been trying to capture the odd offspring for many years. Very disturbing.

House 09/26/2009

What a VERY interesting premiere! Okay, so House winds up in the looney bin. Honestly I can't remember last season. He does his usual House thing ~ sarcasm (gotta LOVE that!) and causing problems for everyone. In order to "fix" this one dude he takes him on a trip and he winds up jumping out of a car garage and almost killing himself. House also hooks up with this lady who shows just how deep his emotions can run. In the end, House does "fix" a few people, but more importantly he becomes a little more human and realizes how much he truly does need other people. I'm only wondering how this experience will change the show if at all.

The Office 09/21/2009

This show is just hysterical! Okay, so Michael decides that he needs to be a part of the office rumor mill and haphazardly causes Pam and Jim to spill the beans about their baby bean. Now everyone knows. Yes, someone even asked who the father was! Jim and Pam jumped in with the news to save Stanley from having to confess that he was having an affair that his wife didn't know about. In the end, we find out that she kinda had a feeling.

Fringe Premiere 09/19/2009

This show is just too freaky, but I love it! I didn't realize how much I enjoy this show until I watched the premiere. Okay, so the show starts out with a car accident in New York City. The guy gets out of the SUV and walks away despite people trying to stop him. He walks to this guys apartment where he kills him and plugs this thingy in his mouth and then plugs the other end into his own mouth. He jumps around and morphs into the other guy. Back at the scene, for no apparent reason, Olivia comes flying through the SUV window. She's taken to the hospital where the doctors say she's brain dead and they begin to plan to take her off life support. Peter goes in to see her the night before she is to be taken off life support and she sits up reciting Greek. To make a long story short, the guy with the plug is from a parallel universe in which Olivia was visiting. That's where she was coming from when she burst through the SUV window. The plug guy is supposed to kill Olivia and tried by morphing into a nurse then ultimately by the shows end morphed into Charlie. Walter examined the first dead guy's body and found the plug marks in his mouth so the Fringe department know about the plug. They even found the broken plug machine by the nurse and took it to Agent Broyles to help keep the funding for Fringe. The show ended with the plug dude throwing Charlie's body into an incinerator. The guy had already morphed into Charlie. Olivia had talked with Peter and now has her senses back together. Walter was eating a Twizzler and doing an autopsy while talking Astrid through making custard for Peter's birthday. I REALLY like Walter! His character is just hysterical and brilliant.

Our Verizon box went bad so we had to replace it. Guess what? Whatever was recorded on the box is now gone. :( So how was Dr. Oz's first show? Will you watch it regularly?

Dr. Oz Show 09/14/2009

Hey! Can you believe that Dr. Oz now has a show?! Okay, I'm thinkin' MAJOR deja vu!!! Dr. Phil started the exact same way. Remember Dr. Phil Tuesdays? I think it was Tuesdays. It's been a while. Anyway, Oprah has launched yet another doctor onto the airwaves, but hey, how can I complain. Dr. Oz is pretty cool and you can't be too negative about a dude that makes you really look at your body. The show starts today to go to doctoroz.com to see what stations you can check him out on!

Yes, it ended last season, but I'm FINALLY getting around to watching it. I only have two words to say about it ~ What gives?! Come on! I went through 3 years of seeing these guys busting out of one prison after another and then when they'll finally get exonerated Michael lives for 4 years and then dies? I cried like a baby! It was a great show and I'm sad to see it go, but how many years can these guys run from secret and crooked government agents?  I would like to see Wentworth Miller in some other prime time TV slots. He's is just way too cute!!

Oh, I had a feeling that Mike and Susan would get back together, but I had no clue that they would get married. That sucks for Katherine! I really felt bad for her, but in Mike defense, I don't think he really wanted to get married to Katherine. I think she kinda guilted him into marriage so in a way she was kinda asking for being dumped. How creepy though that she put on Susan's wedding dress!
What's up with the new neighbors?! You know they've got some big secret ~ doesn't everyone who moves onto Wisteria Lane? I didn't like the end of the show when Susan's daughter gets strangled by the new kid. I hope she lives.
I LOVED Lynette's "warning" to the new mom she met in the doctor's waiting room. As a mom of 2 I appreciated both the happy, innocence of the new mom and the wise, reality of the experienced mom. I was laughing so hard I nearly woke up my kids!

All I have to say is THANK YOU to the person who invented the DVR!!!! Without it I would never be able to watch any of my favorite shows. Ya see, my husband controls the remote at night. My kids control the remote in the morning. I work all day and the TV never comes on except occasionally when I have a spare moment. The DVR lets me watch my favorite shows when I have the time.

On the right you'll see my line up. These are the shows that I am faithful to. Prison Break is over now, but I had to include it as well since Michael Scoffield (Wentworth Miller) is STILL just too damn cute!!! Woo hoo! Anyway, if you click on the TV show, it will magically propel you to that show's website. A big thank you goes out to Fox for their show images ~ Dollhouse, 24, House, Bones, Prison Break, Lie To Me, Fringe and Glee. Thanks goes out to the folks at Wikipedia for the images to Desperate Housewives, Brothers and Sisters, Medium, The Office, American Idol, Dr. Phil and Oprah.
