Pink Fuzzy Slippers
I remember when my husband first approached me about staying home with our then 11 month old son. Sure, I'd love to stay home with him since I missed him dreadfully when I went to work, but I really didn't want to quit my job either. I didn't want to wrench my hair back in a pony tail, don sweatpants and take up residence on the couch watching TV in pink fuzzy slippers eating bon bons. I accepted despite my fears.
Oh how wrong I was! After a slight transition period, I realized that being a stay-at-home mom (SAHM) can be a lot of work! I'm solely responsible for how things operate in my home. I am the Queen. In today's terms ~ the CEO. No one eats, sleeps, dresses or gets sick or hurt without some involvement from me. It's a lot of work and a lot of responsibility and requires a lot of organization and I take it very seriously. This site is dedicated to SAHMs past, present and future.
